KBS Designs Review

As I was initially setting up Mumma Trends, I was contacted by Karyn from KBS designs to do a review of one of her products. Not only was I thrilled with the thought that there was some interest in the Mumma Trends concept, once I had a look at her website it was clear to me that the beautiful range of products that are made by Karyn would be a breeze for me to review. I have not been disappointed!

I recently received a delightful mobile, handmade by Karyn for her business, KBS Designs. Originally my plan was to keep it a secret from Miss2, at least until I had had a chance to look at it closely, this was not to be the case! As soon as the box arrived, she was intrigued, and of course I couldn't open it without her help.

Upon initial inspections, it was decided that this was a 'beautiful present', and I had to agree, it was beautifully and carefully packaged. Once opened, I understood the need for all the lovely packaging, it was incredibly delicate, with many many carefully cut out horse shapes in shades of pink, white and grey, all made of paper. Not only was this a beautifully made piece of art, it is perfectly designed. When hanging, even the smallest breeze encourages the horses to move, making it one of the best mobiles I've seen. Quite mesmerising really ( as pointed out by my lovely husband, who noticed this while 'resting' on Miss2's bed while she played ).

I can thoroughly recommend KBS Designs for any custom nursery/children's room decor, because of the care taken to make such a special mobile. If this level of care goes into everything Karyn makes (which I'm sure it does), you will not be disappointed. Karyn sources beautiful and unique fabrics to create special individual pieces for rooms of all types, from clocks to lamps to of course, beautiful mobiles. Prices are very reasonable, given that each piece is custom made.

Whether it be for a baby shower or new baby gift, or you are redecorating your child's room, I would definitely suggest having a look at KBS Designs for a unique and personal touch that will stand out in any room.

(By the way, Miss2 now proudly shows off her 'pony mobile' to anyone she can drag into her room. It is very much a prized possession!)
