How many of you lovely mums look back with a certain nostalgia, at the lovely jewellery that you once wore, before children?
I was at uni, and going through a beaded hippy phase, which morphed into a stylish Sydney office worker period in my life, both of which resulted in a rather large collection of jewellery that is neither child friendly or sadly in some cases, attractive. Now, while I am reluctant to actually get rid of it all (after all, I have wonderful memories of playing dress-ups with my mum's jewellery collection) none of it has really been worn for the last two and a half years, since my daughter arrived on the scene.
So the question soon becomes what options do I have? What can I wear that is child friendly and still stylish? Drool Jewels has the answer with a lovely range of trendy and child friendly jewellery. Created for mums who want to look good, and still cater to their children; the BPA free silicone is safe for little ones, particularly those who are teething, to put into their mouths.
I have had the opportunity to test run a brand new, Drool Jewels exclusive, pendant over the past weeks, and have been delighted with this little gem. Designed by Susannah, the owner of this lovely business, this heart pendant features the Drool Jewels logo on one side, and has a cord threaded through with a quick release clasp. The size of this pendant is perfect for little hands to grab, yet it is large enough to let them chew on it.
I have been lucky enough to check out a variety of silicone jewellery since having my daughter, and I love that there are such a huge range of options available. Drool Jewels has a variety of colours and styles of necklaces, including a bracelet and necklace set, in addition to the brand new pendant. There is something to suit everyone's taste and budget, with prices starting at just $15AUD

I love the casual look of this design, which means that it works well with most everyday outfits, the fun colours and shape make it ideal to be worn as a pendant and can easily be given to your small ones as a distraction and chew on. For those of you breastfeeding, this would act as a fabulous distraction for little hands while feeding (far more comfortable than a handful of hair, let me tell you!). Additionally, it is the perfect length to be worn when bub is in a carrier.
These multipurpose pieces are simply a must-have for mums, so next time you are looking for a necklace to wear with a new dress, or the perfect baby shower or new mum gift, look no further, Drool Jewels has it covered.
